ABOUT:
Shisei is a San Francisco-Bay Area-based DJ, and the founder of Hauslabs.
Shisei got his DJ name after the Japanese word for tattoo, for his love of body art, and after the sensual short story about tattooing by Junichiro Tanizaki (The Tattooer, 1910)—in case you’re wondering.
He loves house music of all kinds, but mostly, he loves music, period. He began spinning around 2008, and has had the fortune to get to know many DJs since then. He has played at 111 Minna, the Supper Club, Anú, Mars Bar, 222 Hyde, and Temple in San Francisco, and at the Stork Club in Oakland.
Shisei is looking into producing music and is always for collaborating with other DJs and musicians.
While he loves interacting with people on the dance floor, he is also into casting online that gives him the opportunity to connect with people around the world.
