LOUIE GOMEZ
As a young DJ in the emerging House music scene, Louie Gomez got his first taste of music production by creating a club friendly version of “Your Love” by then unknown Jamie Principle. This song, along with an original unreleased production from Gomez entitled “Change”, became staples in Frankie Knuckle’s Deejay sets at the legendary Warehouse and Powerplant nightclubs in Chicago. Gomez went on to produce for Rama Records and Absorb music label. After taking some time to hone his skills as a producer / remixer / songwriter; Gomez then teamed up with Dj Joe Fresco and collaborated as Gomez and Fresco on various projects for DHS, Poontin and PiNO Music labels.
In March of 2012, his project ‘South Side Funk Joint’ created a huge buzz for OpenHouse Recordings. Gomez is following this with a full-length CD for the label.
