TROUBLESHOOTING

HAVING PROBLEMS VIEWING OUR STREAM?    We’ve got some possible fixes….

REFRESH YOUR PAGE/VIDEO PLAYER:

Sometimes a problem can be simply solved by either refreshing your browser page, and/or refreshing the video player (refresh button is located at the bottom right-hand corner of the video screen)

NEW!!! QUICK FIX FOR MAC COMPUTERS USING CHROME AND HAVING FLASH ISSUES!!!!:

If you are a Chrome for Mac OS user, chances are that you might be working your way through a seemingly never-ending battle with recent Adobe (Shockwave) Flash updates, many of which have seemed to cause unnecessary slow-downs and crashes. You probably have multiple older versions of Flash installed and activated at the same time. Disable all but the current version in under 30 seconds! CLEAR YOUR CACHE:

Clear you cache and then close & restart your browser (computer restart optional). Sometimes this is all you need.

CONNECT VIA ETHERNET CABLE, TURN OFF WIRELESS:

Video streams are best viewed while directly connected to your modem via an ethernet cable (turn OFF wireless and Blue-tooth).

IF THE VIDEO STREAM WON’T LOAD DISABLE ADBLOCK:

If the video stream won’t connect and all you see is the SPINNING-WHITE-CIRCLE-OF-DEATH, simply DISABLE any AdBlock extension you may be using on your browser by checking the “disable on this page only” option (or similar option).  This option can be found by clicking on the AdBlock icon located on your browser (‘ABP’ for AdBlock Plus)

USE MODERN BROWSERS:

If possible we recommend the following browsers: Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari.  (Make sure that you’ve installed the most recent version recommended for your specific computer operating system).  Using IE (Internet Explorer)?  Stop.  Just stop.

GET THE KIDS OFF YOUR OTHER COMPUTERS:

Open browser windows and other internet users within your residence may be interfering with your streaming experience (downloading movies, playing on-line video games, etc..)

UPDATE FLASH:

Make sure your computer is updated to the latest versions of Flash (Flash uninstall & computer restart will be required.  IMPORTANT:  Note your previous Flash version in case you need to re-install it).  Also check to see if you computer needs other updates.

RUN COMPUTER CLEANING PROGRAMS REGULARLY:

Use recommended “computer cleaning’ software programs from reputable companies regularly to keep your operating system more stable and running faster.

USE ADBLOCK TO STOP COMMERCIALS:

Use free AdBlock browser extensions if constant commercial interruptions are a problem while viewing streaming content (Browser restart required after installation).

DISABLE ADBLOCK IF THE STREAM WON’T LOAD:
